quilt expression 720

What to check before buying a used Pfaff quilt expression 720

• This sewing machine was introduced around 2025.
• Ask for a test stitch on scrap fabric — the stitch should be even with no skipped stitches or looping underneath.
• Run through all stitch patterns and check that the machine switches between them without jamming.
• Inspect the bobbin case and hook for rust or thread nests, and make sure the bobbin winder works.
• Check the feed dogs, presser foot and needle plate for wear or burrs that can snag fabric.
• Turn the handwheel by hand: it should move smoothly with no grinding or tight spots.
• Confirm the foot pedal, power cord and (if fitted) the hard case are included — replacements are not always available.
